XNA – Game Studio (Hands-On-Session)

Xna Demo.Ppt

I organised a HOL session on XNA game development as a part of the pesit.net college group activities on 12th February 2009 since a majority of the students were inclined towards developing games and expressed an interest towards it.Beginning with a short intoduction to XNA Framework and its overview,  I also briefed them about the various XNA Game classes and the basic program flow .I then helped the students create a simple 2D game with a shoe kicking a football which resulted in some good interactions among them.Students from all semesters attended the session and thoroughly enjoyed coding the game. The session was just a basic session about the XNA framework and most of them were inspired to go back home and try out some more interesting stuff!!
